To provide you with an accurate quote for a shed/carport or cover, we will ask for the site address of your project. We need this because the Engineering and Compliance documents we provide are site specific and take in a lot of different environmental conditions. The calculations made by our design software take in such information as the general location ( Region A,B,C etc), the local topography , the prevailing winds as well as any protection that might be offered by hills, mountains or other buildings in the immediate area.
Also, consider when you are deciding what size your new shed will be, what’s going in it. It’s better to take the time to measure the vehicle or machine to make sure the door openings will do the job than find out when it’s too late that they are too small. Roller doors typically need 400-500mm height above the door to allow for rollup when open - that needs to be considered in the height of the shed.
